With Huyen Vu appointed as CEO and President of OPTOMAN Inc., this expansion strengthens our position as a trusted manufacturer of IBS-coated laser optics for high-power and ultrafast laser applications. This step marks a key milestone in OPTOMAN’s growth, bringing us closer to our customers and reinforcing our commitment to delivering reliable, high-damage-threshold optical coatings for the most demanding laser systems.

OPTOMAN was founded in 2017 by Remigijus Šliupas and Simonas Kičas after noticing a critical gap in the market: as laser technologies advanced, there weren’t enough reliable, high-damage-threshold laser optics to keep pace with growing power and precision demands.

Instead of following a traditional manufacturing path, they built OPTOMAN around a core idea of combining advanced Ion Beam Sputtering (IBS) coating technology with a highly responsive, engineering-driven mindset. From the very beginning, the goal was not just to produce optics, but to solve complex challenges in high-power and ultrafast laser applications.
