Development of Employee Skills at OPTOMAN

OPTOMAN is implementing the project “UAB “Optomenas” darbuotojų įgūdžių ugdymas” (“Development of Employee Skills at LLC Optomenas”) (Project No. 02-035-K-0042), which is co-funded by the European Union.

 

OPTOMAN specialises in designing, developing, and manufacturing thin-film dielectric coatings and laser optical components. Our production processes utilise Ion-Beam Sputtering technology, ensuring the highest possible quality of products. Our challenges include improving production efficiency, adopting new technologies, and meeting customer demands. This project focuses on developing innovative laser optics solutions that are more efficient, precise, and cost-effective. We aim to enhance our employees’ skills in innovation, technology implementation, and problem-solving to improve our products and services.

 

Project objective:

To enhance employee skills in the fields of new manufacturing processes, materials, and technologies.

 

Project activities:

The project focus will be on developing the skills required by SMEs to adapt to technological advancements and industrial transformation. Special attention will be given to addressing challenges and opportunities identified in the research, experimental development, and innovation (smart specialization) sectors and during business opportunity exploration. Digital skill development and improvement will be prioritized to support sustainable, innovation-driven economic growth.

 

Expected results:
Employees of the SME, after completing training aimed at fostering skills required for advanced specialization, industrial transformation, and entrepreneurship, will gain expertise in various ares, including technical, management, entrepreneurship, and ecology-related skills.
